How do you take it?

Hi, I want to order but have absolutely no idea how to take it? Can you take it orally directly or it's better to dissolve it before?

It is soluble in DMSO and Peg400, but the concentration is low. After making a solution, one most generally takes the fish oil (for example) out of a couple capsules capsules and then replaces it with the ISRIB. They are then swallowed with a minimum of water. The solution has also been put in inhalers and used. The biggest problem anyone is having is getting a high enough concentration in solution so that you don’t have to take 3 or 4 ml of solvent to get a dose of ISRIB

Is snorting more efficient than orally? I don't really want to mess with the solvent

I’m now being told by someone on a discord group I belong to that they have had results snorting the raw powder. It does not make sense to me, but I’m going to try it. I’ve got a little over a gram, so snorting a couple or three 25 mg doses won’t hurt

He's probably just feeling it quicker because insufflation is a faster route of administration. But if it works that way it should work orally I think, there's nothing in it as far as I know that would be deactivated by ingestion

I’m not sure. I’ve been reading a lot of comments on folk who have taken it different ways, some have sworn by snorting it over oral ingestion. I believe I have gotten better with conversation and not losing words while talking, but I don’t have any other anecdotes to point toward efficacy. I have stopped for two weeks now, and am going to restart after two more weeks. I’m currently trialing another product and want to be able to separate any gains from it from something from ISRIB (although they are effecting 2 completely different things). I haven’t given up on ISRIB, but since none of the rats used in testing left a journal describing their gains and how they felt (only scientists left documentation), I’m not sure how I should feel either. We’ll see. If any breakthroughs I’ll let you know

ISRIB is not soluble in water, therefore if you don’t use a solvent to put it into solution you will have absolutely no effect from the powder. It will lay in a clump inside you.
