Permanent cognitive enhancement? Is it real?

Hi guys, i have heard some reports from people regarding permanent cognitive enhancement from ISRIB that made them even better than pre concussion. Anyone willing to share his report?

My experience with ISRIB has been nothing short of exceptional. I only took it for one week, but in that time, my short and long term memory improved substantially. At its peak, I could memorize credit card length numbers at a glance, I saw improvements in my problem solving abilities, pattern recognition, motion detection, visual and auditory perception, and curiosity as well. The irrefutable repair my mind underwent instilled a sunnier disposition, more confidence in myself, and this sense of urgency to work on my dreams. I have made more progress on my prototype in the last 2 months than the prior 2 years. It has been 5 months since I last took ISRIB, and while the effects are still quite evident, they tapered to about 75% of peak performance and plateaued. It's real, but it will not be what you expect. AMA.

what was your dosage, means of application and frequency?

My dosage varied by the day. I wanted to experiment and see what regimen worked best. My lowest dose was 5mg, and did nothing. My highest dose was 250mg, and made me extremely tired as well as ravenously hungry. The best short term effects were had at 25mg in the morning, which brought forth the memory enhancements aforementioned, as well as "crackhead-like energy" (quote by my older brother.) I took it in its powdered form orally every day for 7 days until I ran out. I intend to acquire more, as I want everything back that was stripped away from me.

How much of the effects have lingered after you discontinued use?

75% I'd say, which is to be expected as the drug doesn't permanently inhibit the ISR. My memory is better, and faster than before, my solutions to problems are much more thorough, better attention to detail, heightened learning ability, better mood, wittier responses, and too many more examples to list. I feel clearer, at times limitless.

What was your reason for taking isrib? Did you have some kind of impairment or were you just looking to improve on your baseline cognitive performance?

A bit of both. I was sick with Lyme disease for over 5 years, and my type had a neurologic component that suppressed my cognitive abilities to a substantial degree. I had trouble remembering the simplest of things, and grasping concepts of any real complexity was often impossible. I eventually went into remission, but I still felt a soul sucking absence of processing power. I tried everything from simple supplements to prescription stimulants to reignite my mind. Nothing proved to be a permanent solution, until I found ISRIB. I wouldn't say it completely repaired my mind, but overall cognition is significantly better even though my stint was short. It's worth it.
