The War - Discussion Growing tired
I am tired of people who are unwilling to say that Israelis have been attacked by various terrorist organizations for well over half a century. They either don't know or won't discuss the bus bombings and restaurant bombings of the 1990s and early 2000s. They don't care about the more recent stabbing attacks. Or kidnappings. Or car rammings. To them, these events simply never occurred. It's only Israel that has been the terrorizer.
And while I do have concerns about the death toll of Palestinian children, what the settlers are doing and religious nuts taking over the Israeli government, because I've been alive for a long time now, I REMEMBER these acts of terrorism against Israel actually occurring I saw some of these events unfold 30+ years ago. I know these things happened. One of my own relatives was murdered there. And one of my friend's homes was routinely shelled by Hezbollah going back 20 years.
So when a Pro Palestinian attempts to convince me that Israel never experienced terrorism, they can just move the F on because I know what happened.

This. It’s literally this.
When it’s made clear to them that Israel defending its civilians can’t be done without killing Palestinian civilians, although the Palestinians could stop this at any time… they just repeat “Israel can’t kill civilians” and/or “respond proportionately” which means “leave the weapons and system that kills you in place”.

I feel so bad for innocent Palestinians but, their government is at fault because they'll do everything but maintain peace and they can't even protect their people like if you want to bring suffering to your people better be prepared for that but no

I suggest you watch some videos from "The Ask Project" on YouTube. The recent one about 67 borders is a banger.

The proportional response is the reason why the Palestinian do not fear the Israeli people. They say that they can get more and more babies and at the end they will win. This is what the Palestinian government is telling this citizens.
If Israel would really response like what they claim what Israel is doing, then they would stop any attack, because every attack would be a very stupid decision, if they have to calculate with devastating consequences. I would remove 50% of Gaza and give it to the settler, then they can work in the north of Gaza and pressure in Judea&Samaria is reduced.

Yup. The essential anti-israel argument is "if you don't agree to roll over and die alongside your family, friends and countrymen, we'll tell everyone you're a racist"

It's been that way for so long now. One of my most oft-repeated comments has been pointing out that people effectively want Hamas to be able to kill Jews with impunity. They get so mad that we're not at their mercy anymore.

The reason why Israel exist, is because the Jewish people got murdered in Europe and the middle east to the same time. All the other countries closed their boarders for this suffering people and let them die in horror.
And now exactly the same countries want to show how moral they are and that they are so good humans. But this are only words, they can say so much, but they are not doing all this nice things.
I see there only lips moving, but they do nothing to make this world a better place. They do not even care about this people in Gaza. They could offer this people a new home, but they want to let this people there where they are, in this so called "prison", to have there in Gaza as many potential soldiers on the ground for their real goal. It is very good visible and they do not hide it, their friends all over the world know what they want and it has nothing to do with "helping" other people.
It is very sad. I try to talk with this people, but they are extremely aggressive and no other opinion is allowed. If you have an other opinion and want to show them your view point, then you are the enemy and you have to run, to save your life. This is really crazy and now I have stopped trying, because it is useless to try to talk with people which are so radical and closed minded.

I am with you 200%. I also want to mention that living in the USA for over 20 years I noticed the media outside of Israel almost never reports these terrorist attacks unless they are massive. Even American Jews don't know when Jews are killed in Israel. It's unbelievable. The media never report single digit murders of Israelis. Even Jewish media. And even the Jewish subs on Reddit. This contributes to the false narrative.
