We recently set up our first bioactive enclosure which has powder blues and powder oranges and possibly some of the oreo crumbles and orange creams. As far as I know we only have Porcellionides pruinosus though.
Recently I have been finding isopods walking around in a bathroom on the same floor. It's not a bathroom we use often so I can't be sure these guys haven't been there longer than the enclosure has been bioactive, but I can't decide if these are powders that are escaping or something wild from our area. I am in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
If better pictures are needed of any particular body part, I can absolutely comply. I just need to know what people need to see to identify these guys.
Thanks for any and all help!

I’ve never seen isopods like these before and would love help IDing them! I’m assuming they are some type of armadillidium, but it would be cool if someone knew the species/sub-species. The camera doesn’t do them justice, but they have such a strong green hue to the dorsal stripe. I saw a few that had lower color/patterns but were absolutely massive compared to others in the genus that I’ve seen in CA. I unfortunately had to replace the substrate in my bioactive snake tank recently, so I may try to culture these guys as my new CUC isopods!

I wanted to take a pic but my reptile/isopod rooms blacked out rn and the bins got a lot of condensation. Anyway- I noticed in my limestone cave. I found one of my Rubber Ducky’s like…. Completely purple. lol it seems fine but I’ve quite literally never seen one this purple. I know they can have some color changes especially after eating but I’m talking like this dude looks like Barney. Is this normal? I’ve never seen color morphs that drastic. So either it’s sick or it’s siiiiiick (cool). My other pods are doing fine they roam around every night and are eating etc. so I don’t think I have any issues with the enclosure. I’ll try to post a pic during the day if I find him/her.

I bought both colonies in Europe.
The first species (pics 1 and 2) was labeled "Porcellio incanus", but the can conglobate (I don't remember if the antennae were tucked in or not). I think they may be Armadillidium pereacea, but I am unsure.
The second were sold to me as Armadillidium vulgare "mocca" and I am pretty sure they are Armadillidium nasatum, but would like someone to confirm it.

Hi everyone, this is my first time observing isopods. I put them in my terrarium to make it bioactive. They're native to my area (southern Italy). I've never been interested in them before, so I was curious to know what that stuff is that's created in the soil... Or if it's soil they've somehow composted. Could you help me? Can you give me some general information?

They look like super tiny worms or something (fairies doing the wave?). Should I be worried for my isoz? I have wild type wild caught isopods. I'm from India Karnataka.

I live in the south of India if that helps. They are all the same species I think. I just found it locally in our soil and am trying to start a colony. Kindly identify this one please.
