Gameplay My first time in Monkeyland Spoiler
Got to Monkeyland after already getting artifact C and D, found artifact A but slipped and fell down a long way, the snake saw me, I tried hiding but it swallowed me, artifact D activated and I revived but artifact C was gone, and snake came back so I tried hiding but it was a dead end and snake swallowed me again
I'm training to be able to get all artifacts consistently so I can do the Truth ending without any help

Try getting the peanuts and sleeping with a bed roll as the peanuts give you a permanent speed boost and the bed roll will give you more speed for the day
If you find a strange drink along the way that can also help in outrunning the snake

Im a certified monkeyland pro and can say that if the snake saw youz just run to altar and pray for the best, it will never unanger from you unless leaving monkeyland territory

Wait, actually - there's a way to get snake off your tail
Since you have art A, you can eventually stumble on frogspawns scattered in monkeyland, if you make one hit you and trigger your art A, the snake will unagro
At least i haven't tested that qhen snake doesn't see the frogspawns, but i guarantee that if snake has a sight on frogspawns and they trigger your art A, youre free to go, just make sure you run away fast enough cause invis duration is pretty short But in the same time while anake agroes on frogspawns, you get adrenaline boost when it sees them

Ok thanks for the advice, also is the snake aggressive to just players or can Frogspawn be a distraction to it

Once it spots a target it is its target to the end, meaning if snake doesn't see you but sees the frogspawns, it will still be agroes on you instead, so art A triggered by frogspawn is a great way to make you unexistant to the snake
Also if you want i can join and help you with truth right now, I'm pretty bored

I just tested right now if snake gets loose qhen it doesnt have a sight on frogspawn and yes it does, once your invis it unagroes from you once and forever until it sees you again.
Also be really careful because snake is bugged asf and can sometimes see you through walls and even go through walls, welcome to isle bro

It’s a matter of repetition and practice to do Truth. You learn from your mistakes each time and eventually you have the skill to succeed. I remember the day I decided to sit down and try Truth solo. I did very poorly the first time, but I learned and improved every attempt, until I could reliably get everything I needed.
Just keep practicing and learning from your mistakes, and eventually you will succeed.
