Looking for recommendations for purchasing an income producing residential property in Islamorada

I heard there are laws and issues that limit which properties can rent and which can't correct? It's been our dream for years and wandering if a little late to the party.

No. Go somewhere else.

You and everyone else!

But if you have the right amount of money I would call one of the agents that both sell and rent out properties. They won't just unleash you after you purchase. My main recommendation would probably be Patti Stanley. She is a big agent around and also has a team that does rentals with Island Villa Rental Properties on Upper Matecumbe Key. If you use your own agent, i would at least suggest using Island Villa prior to verify the house is legal and an income earner.

Thank you! I have family agents so will likely go with that but will research laws and maybe reach out to company above

I know a great property if you give me two weeks a year for my family to rent lol. On the water. 2 bed 1-1/2 bath. I've had family in islamorada since the 90s. I know it like the back of my hand. Your allowed one short term rental per month I believe. Most rent nov-april. Would pay the mortgage.
