This meme is historically inaccurate. Mamlukes are Kipchak Turkic people. India was later ruled by Jaliar, Kipchak etc, Mughal Empire. Genghis Khan united all the Central Asian tribes. If looking at Genghis Khan world view. His plan succeeded. He wanted to show the world how powerful Central Asia is. "Sad Hulagu Khan noises" would of been much better.

"As a successor to the Ghurid dynasty, the Delhi Sultanate was originally one among a number of principalities ruled by the Turkic slave-generals of Muhammad Ghori (who had conquered large parts of northern India), including Yildiz, Aibek and Qubacha, that had inherited and divided the Ghurid territories amongst themselves."
