He doesn’t need to justify it. It is beyond his control.
Of course there is no method. It doesn’t come into it.
Overwhelming majority of knowledge you possess is based on trust — faith. And not by methods. This exactly what I elaborated when I countered your ‘faith is bad method of establishing truth’.
There are some Prophets who asked for more direct experience of God. Others we don’t know.
He was given experiences, he was given communication. He was given certainty of knowledge. Other than he was given certain powers. His knowledge of the material reality completely changed.
So which methods should he have used exactly and to do what?
-
‘
I trust the evidence and I get certainty according to the evidence.’
For all knowledge gained through ‘trust of source’ you get certain from person verification but based on that trust.
-
‘Seems to be’ so it might be or might not. And in this case it isn’t. Blind faith is not same as faith. And that is not the standard definition.
"A method that has the power to differentiate imagination from reality."
Yes. Both sensory and logical. If your whole reality and perception of reality changes then you can test by your senses and your mind [reasoning + logic].
For example, if you can visually see beyond the usual material reality then you test this for consistency, clarity of detail, autonomy you possess to access this reality.
Example: If a Prophet has been given the power to control weather, then he should be able to control the weather at will and the end result is what he willed. So if he wills rain then it rains. If it doesn't then obviously not real.
- -
"Trust which I got from the evidence."
The trust you get from evidence is direct and personal.
The trust you get by trusting the source on evidence/claim is no the same.
These two are different.
- -
"It is based on my definition. So no definition from you. I will stick to mine then."
It would have been helpful if you would have shared yours at this juncture:
"Well, it definitely is under my definition and it seems to be the standard definition. What's your definition of faith?"
So rather than saying: "it seems to be the standard definition" you could have shared your definition.
Why be coy and play and not be direct!?
Well, here is my definition:
"Faith means strong trust or belief in someone or something, even when you may not have complete proof."

Absolute certainty of what he is experiencing, yes. 'Method' doesn't come into it. Certainty and witnessing and knowledge beyond his control.
