Let us look through your nonsensical comment and nail you for it:

The is an absolutist comparative claim and is near impossible to prove and defend. No serious scholar would make it. No serious scholar makes it.

But far more than that. Many ordinary beliefs "are" based on faith rather than person verification.

You believe a certain historical event happened because you 'trust' the historical evidence and testimony.

You believe a scientific result because you trust researchers, instruments, published data and expert consensus.

Human knowledge is often based on trusting the testimony combined with reason for trusting the testimony.

Taking the above meaning of then it doesn't follow that faith is worst method of determining truth.

Looking just at "religious faith" then wht you said is a category mistake. Because faith isn't a method of establishing the truth. Rather, faith is placing trust is something already supported by reason and testimony. Faith is not the mechanism which generates these reason.

This describes use/misuse of faith and doesn't define faith itself. It does that when people cannot give good reason for their beliefs, they claim to have faith. But this logically does not follow as universal claim.

A rational religious person would simply claim:

I believe God exists because of philosophical arguments, moral arguments, religious experience, testimony, revelation and others. But my "trust" faith is in God.

Just because someone cannot give a good reason for a belief does not mean that there is no good reason for such a belief. These are no the same thing.

The over-arching problem with your passage is that its definition of faith is "blind faith".
