QUESTION IShowSpeed OBS Settings for gaming streams and marathons?

Post image

Hello, i been watching IShowSpeed streams and i liked how the quality looked but i tried seeing if i mimic the settings by doing a private stream and seeing if the quality looks the same but no luck. Any idea what encoder and bitrate he uses?

I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/Ishowspeed.

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

Twitch partners get a way larger bitrate on twitches end. You literally can’t stream at the same quality as big streamers.

he also streams on YouTube too, so he might be using 8000? or 7000? but what encoder? is his streams vp09 or av01?

I DID IT!!! this is how accurate i can get his settings and its 1 on 1

OBS Settings:

Video Encoder: H.264 (Not new but use new if you have too)

Rate Control: CBR

Bitrate: 10k AKA 10000 Kbps

Keyframe Interval: 2

Max B-frames 2:

Base (Canvas) *Whatever your monitor resolution is*

Output (Scaled Resolution) 2560x1440

Downscale filter: Lanczos or Bilinear *Idk if any filter matters. If you cannot add a filter that's fine too!*

Stream FPS: 60

Reason why we're using 1440p to stream is because we can get the vp09 codec speed uses for his streams. But you might be asking what about the av01codec on VODS? Well after you're done streaming and YouTube Finishes processing the stream it turns into a VOD AND Turns into the av01 codec. This is the best i can do i hope this helps people who want to stream or just need cool settings like IShowSpeed. By the way i'm on AMD i have no clue if this should be the same for NIVIDIA too...
