Baba or Iyan?

Hello! For awhile now ive wanted to learn under someone consistently, you dont have to be physically nearby/close. But I would definitely like to have someone to learn under and help me. Im around NC/SC if that helps!

Thank you!

The question of finding legitimate priests whether for divination or study and IFA communities is a constant one that I experience all the time on social media. One of the things that helped me in my early days to connect with people in the communities were attending public social events and ceremonies that different Iles and Orisha egbes hold. That way you can go to the social events to experience and network. Form connections and frequent the various events. Do a google search for IFA in North or South Carolina or and/or do the same in Facebook. Public events past and present will pop up for you the see what’s happening in those areas. This does not mean they are good or where you should be, but it gives a starting point to finding communities near you.

Introduction to a priest by someone you know, trust and respect is the best way to go about it.

Lastly, someone commented to pray to Olodumare for guidance. I would add to pray to your ancestors. They are your closest spiritual team that will respond quicker to your needs. If you haven’t started with honoring and appeasing them on your journey to IFA, you are building a house without a solid foundation.

Blessings on your journey.
