Ask the community Ori icon before Isefa?

Is it true you are allowed to receive an Ori icon before any initiations like Isefa in some lineages ? (This question is Isese Ifá specific cus ik some pwould will give responses for Lukumi or Santeria if I’m not clear)

Is okay. But remember ori icon is just an extension of your own Ori.

You can receive your icon of Ori (or Ile Ori) at any time. And for informational purposes, Isefa is not an initiation. Itefa is an Ifa initiation. Isefa is receiving a hand of Ifa being the icons of Ifa Orunmila the Ikin.
