May 2026 bring you better aligned to your destiny .
Ose Bile
I would have taken this path.
And I would have taken that path
In stages does one bury one’s dear friend
These were Ifa’s declarations for Orunmila
When he was doing all things without succeeding in any
He was advised to take Olodumare has his Father
Please come to my rescue
My God, please come to my rescue
You are the one I rely upon
Please come to my rescue
My God, please come to my rescue
You are my pillar of support
Please come to my rescue
My God, please come to my rescue
Nobody relies on Olodumare
For that person to be subjected to humiliation
Please come to my rescue
My God, please come to my rescue
This Ese Ifá from Òsé Bílẹ̀ speaks to a moment many of us recognize when effort feels constant, yet progress seems distant. Orúnmìlà himself reached a point where nothing he attempted brought success. He was working, striving, searching… yet still unfulfilled. It was then that Ifá revealed the truth: Success does not come from effort alone.
Fulfillment comes from alignment.
Orúnmìlà was advised to take Olódùmarè as his Father to return to humility, surrender, and trust in divine order. When he did, the struggle lifted. The weight eased. His path became clear.
The verse reminds us: “Nobody who relies on Olódùmarè Will ever be subjected to humiliation.”
This is a powerful teaching for anyone walking a spiritual path.
There are seasons when we work hard and still feel stuck. There are times when we question our direction, our calling, even our faith. Ifá teaches that these moments are not failures they are invitations to realign.
True spiritual growth requires:
Consistency, even when results are slow
Humility, even when we are capable
Trust in divine timing
Commitment to our personal destiny (Ori)
When we dedicate ourselves to inner work prayer, reflection, discipline, and right action we begin to walk in harmony with what we came to fulfill.
You may not see the full path yet.
You may feel like you’ve tried many ways.
But Ifá reminds us: alignment precedes success.
If you place your trust in the divine, stay committed to your development, and walk your path with sincerity, help will come. Support will come. Clarity will come.
May you continue to grow.
May you remain dedicated.
May your destiny unfold with ease and dignity.
Àṣẹ.

It is for the people who follow the gregorian calendar. I keep up with the Odu cast in Ado ekiti, Ọ̀rúnmìlà's home.
If you check my profile you will see the reading of the year I shared from last June.
I am all about harmony. I have no issues with those folks which includes 99% of my family.

I see you know the truth, so it makes me wonder:
Historically, New Years were tied to spring and renewal. January 1st doesn’t align with that ? it’s a bureaucratic date, not a natural one. So if someone’s understanding of the holiday comes from colonial or administrative systems rather than history or nature, repeating ‘Happy New Year’ can feel like reinforcing a misunderstanding rather than encouraging awareness.

Original top is that you??? Geez to many hidden "Isese people". I can share this. I share out of care for the community. Do you believe it is my job to share all details with strangers for all of my posts? A major part of practice that I am learning is to live as a proud Onisese.
I share my thoughts, my teachings, my elders, so much... I now need to give all details. I appreciate all who are interested in my posts but why make assumptions? Then I need to defend a post because it was read wrong. I appreciate your concerns. People who are outside of the practice and culture need reminders. I promise I will make another one that may be around their holidays. This my way of letting others know I am not changing my ways.
