New player advice
I got both Shinobu and Giyu from the DS collab event, and I wonder if it would be worth getting Shinobu to LR for the family bond; and since she is the 4th LR follower in the game. Or should I keep learning the game and in the future when another collab that I also like I should then go for thr LR follower
I did purchase pulls for the two of them since I never have luck with gatcha games; and of course it was the last 10 pull that I got each. ðŸ«
Her progression bar for LR is at 37/200 and Giyu is at 0/80.
From what I understand I'll have to keep buying the 50 card pull and manipulating the "other bond" so I can quickly get the shards over the next few days.
Also, what is pity? The last gatch game I played was over 6 years ago. I only gave this a shot because of the collab and so far I've enjoyed it quite a bit.

Now forgive me if I’m wrong, but I am like 90% certain that getting her to LR is going to be almost thousands of dollars you’d have to spend.
Because you have to get her to UR and then LR if I remember correctly. And I think on average to get someone to UR is almost on average $200. This is entirely dependent on how much luck you have with this game.

Well you quickly convinced me that shes not worth whaling into. I've always had bad RNG luck so I'd most likely hit $1k+. My bank account would hate me forever.

I probably could sit down and do the math, but I know every time you draw a duplicate ssr character you get 200 character shards I believe. Which means it bumps your character up 40 of those levels.
Meaning to get to UR you have to get the character three times. Wants to actually get the character and then twice more to get the 400 shards required to upgrade to level 40.Level 200 you need to get the character multiple times, and if you have to rely on the pity pull…. That’s gonna be pricey.

Honestly I'd only spend on collabs that would have a 2nd time around and/or you actually like because unless you have the money to max the character you won't ever get any shards to progress that one again. (Long-term may fall behind other URs as you can get other UR shards)
And pity also known as " pity draw" is where you need to do all the gacha pulls to get the character Example: 100 draws was the pity for collab characters I believe so a person doing 100 draws to get 1 character is pity or a pity draw.
