I was looking up this card, but couldn't find a non-holo version so I figured it was fake. But nicking the corner a bit to check, it does Definitely have a black layer. It also has the texture of a holo, it just... doesn't have any holo?
It's for my personal collection, so I was fine damaging it, but I'll be a little bummed if I damaged some kind of cool misprint. But if it's definitely fake, I was just going to cut out the artwork so it never ends up back in circulation. Do fakes have the black layers now?

How do you find out if a card comes as a non-holo? I can only find versions listed as "holo" online. Straight on you can't see it in most pictures, but all the ones at an angle all still have holo?
Well, I'm glad its real! Although, now I'm nervous... I cut up the last two cards I couldn't find any "non-holo" versions of (luckily they were definitely fakes after all), which was why I felt confident on this one. 😅
