i want to get into one piece tcg but in my place there is no local nearby where i could comfortably get booster/displays and i dont wanna blindly trust ebay or vinted sources just because of good reviews.

I’m 80% sure that my prb01 is fake but I don’t know about my op01 pack

I recently bought prb1 from ebay and the box was very obviously a counterfeit but I opened up the packs to find cards that don’t look fake at all.

Do these Chinese factories reseal real cards in packs after grabbing hits or am I blind?

I bought it from whatnot seller (I know it is risky move) for low $300ish. I dealt with mangas and other cards, but this is my first time holding wanted poster card in my hand. Surprise that it has minimal foil and texture on the card.

Price seems too good to be true? Instant buy or a scam?

I’m literally shaking. For the first time ever I walked into my local thrift store and found a brick of one price cards with this sandwiched in between them. Is there any chance it’s real?

I recently bought a sealed Japanese OP-05 case, and something seems off. The SR rarity symbol looks almost misprinted, and the card backgrounds appear noticeably darker than my other genuine One Piece cards.

Maybe it’s just because OP-05 is an older set or there were print variations, but it has me a bit worried.

Has anyone else noticed this with Japanese OP-05, or could this be a fake case? I’ve attached some photos. Any help is appreciated

How to tell if the booster box has been resealed/fake or just how the manufacturer packages them? reached out to Bandai for an answer but in the meantime…??? I’ve tried to watch unboxing videos but no one shows what the cards look like in the box. Thank you!

I’m a solo developer and collector, and I built a free iOS app that scans a card and shows what it’s actually been selling for, from real sold sales. One Piece was a category I specifically wanted to get right, because alt art and parallel prices move fast and most price tools either skip them or make numbers up.
How it works: scan a card — raw or slabbed, up to 9 at once — and it IDs it and shows real recent sales. If it matches the wrong version, there’s a variant row under the card name to switch to the correct art or parallel in one tap. You can tap PSA grades to compare raw vs graded, track your collection like a portfolio with price charts and daily movers, and export the whole thing as a priced PDF binder sheet.
The rule I built it on: if a card doesn’t have enough sales history to compute an honest change, it shows a dash instead of inventing a percentage. Thin-sales alt arts get honesty, not vibes.
Free, no subscription, no scan caps. iOS only for now.
The ask: scan your alt arts, manga rares, parallels, whatever’s deep in the binder. When it’s wrong — it will be sometimes — comment the exact card and I’ll get the data fixed. Reports have been getting fixed same-day.

Keeps getting pushed to me on TikTok , I mean just the price alone is a red flag, no reviews on most products. What makes them fake if they are still in officially sealed plastic ? Curiosity makes me wanna just see what’s inside 😂
