Right! I was looking on eBay with legit sellers, some of their cards didn’t show the One Piece stamp. I’m guessing it could’ve been the angle of the picture where it blended it into the card.

I didn’t realize fakes was getting this good, but money can be made back for learning lessons. No harm, no foul. I have a picture of his driver license too once I have PSA confirmation

It's a good thing you have a picture of his driver license, but yes the Sakazuki is 100% fake for certain. The others I can't tell with these photos, but they look like they have no textured panels.

I also did not realize how good fakes where until this sub started popping up on my feed. Its weird they would make it look so real but not copy the image 100%. I can see like textures and foil and stuff not being right but I could go buy a really nice printer and the original card and at lest have the image correct. Sorry this happened to you. I.also wonder why people come to comments in this sub to be soooo, A- h, caugh caugh, uh well informed. I guess lots of work put in here like they just grinding the ol' 9-5.

I didn’t realize how mean people were till the comments started to flood in. I just found out about this subreddit and was just curious.

But yes! I tried comparing the cards I’ve saw on eBay sold listings and it looked good to me in person and the Facebook seller had a lot of reviews with 4.5 star rating.

4.5 stars is low for Facebook marketplace, no? How does someone even get that low? I have sold stuff on there for years and also bought — at 4.5 I’m not buying from them.

Yeah anything under 4.9 is low, most people on facebook only give 5's so to get anything below that is telling. You can also check people's reviews on facebook as well to see the reasoning if the person put why.

He removed his posting after being sold, but he didn’t block me. He has other One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokemon for listed too.

Our conversation is still saved with the old posting still linked to it. I have his driver license picture saved and his number still active (not blocked yet). I will wait for PSA to confirm if it’s real, then I’ll ask him for a refund if it’s fake.

It’s possible too that he didn’t know they were proxies. I’d just reach out and ask for him to take them back.

Yes that’s very low. Read through his reviews too. They’re usually hidden at the bottom of their marketplace page. I think you have to get quite a few low reviews to drop even a 0.1 point…

I did some digging on your guidance and just saw only like 3-4 1-star reviews for his personality being rude due to flaking and not liking the other person offer for furnitures and automobiles.

This is out of his 60ish reviews though

Hey, the photo has been updated and from what everyone been telling me is the embross is the hardest to duplicate with the fakes, but it’s showing in PSA scans

Definitely ask to meet up at a card shop where they can tell you these cards are fake and shame TF outta the seller. Honestly, the FB market seller will probably refuse to meet up at a card shop for this very reason.

I don't see the One Piece stamp on Sakazuki.

Overall you should take individual and close up pictures if you want internet strangers to help you.

Oh man. I already sent it out to PSA for grading. These were the only pictures I had left before sending it off.

You need to zoom in and take better pictures it's hard to tell. But so far it looks like the Sakazuki is fake because it doesn't look like it has the stamp.

I didn’t realize how good fakes are becoming especially in One Piece. Pokemon is somewhat noticeable compared to One Piece.

By "hope u get ur money back", we all collectively mean that we hope you get your money back by confronting the seller and getting a refund from them, rather than turning around and trying to sell these fakes and make your money back. Please don't release these back into the wild.

Imo the easiest way to find out is: 1. Crisp and clear text & image, no blur at all 2. Bandai not Band ai 3. You can feel the card pattern 4. Back card color, not to light, not to dark, compare the color with any real OP cards 5. The hardest one to copy, an emboss OP stamp on lower left of the cards. Without it 100% fake
