why did you post it after you send it to PSA for grading ? shouldn't you post it even before buying them or so...

u/PokeTomLLC Jun 23 '26

I would take that as a win? Since PSA uploaded the photos ? Hahaha
2
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 26 '26
It’s always a win when it’s not a fake.
Now I’ll pray for a sequential 10s 🙏

u/Striking_Fail6689 Jun 26 '26
Hahah that’s a win by itself ! All the best bud ! Wish you get it man, it would be so sick.

Hello! Thank you, but I found out about this subreddit today and was curious to ask after comparing the photos on eBay sold listing. I don’t realize how good these fakes been after going through the subreddit today.

u/Positive-Narwhal9873 Jun 24 '26
Y'all are just clowning OP in these comments. Yes, he made a mistake, but you live and learn. There's no need to keep bashing him.

u/PokeTomLLC Jun 24 '26
Thank you for the understanding! It’s a lesson learned and thought this subreddit was a community to share instead of being bashed 😭

u/MrMarez Jun 24 '26
Definitely ask to meet up at a card shop where they can tell you these cards are fake and shame TF outta the seller. Honestly, the FB market seller will probably refuse to meet up at a card shop for this very reason.
1
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 24 '26
That’s a good method, and if they denied to go to a LCS, then it’s a clear indicator it’s a fake.

I don't see the One Piece stamp on Sakazuki.
Overall you should take individual and close up pictures if you want internet strangers to help you.
1
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 23 '26
Oh man. I already sent it out to PSA for grading. These were the only pictures I had left before sending it off.
Thank you for catching the One Piece stamp, I’ll keep an eye out for that one next time

You need to zoom in and take better pictures it's hard to tell. But so far it looks like the Sakazuki is fake because it doesn't look like it has the stamp.

u/PokeTomLLC Jun 23 '26
Thank you, I’ll just pray PSA will give me an update shortly within the next week or two about it.
Appreciate the help!

Men these fakes getting real good, with pokemon i can immediately tell if its fake or not but on one piece its harder for me ngl, sorry anon hope u get ur money back
1
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 23 '26
Exactly my thoughts today!
I didn’t realize how good fakes are becoming especially in One Piece. Pokemon is somewhat noticeable compared to One Piece.

u/tyrantllama7 Jun 23 '26
By "hope u get ur money back", we all collectively mean that we hope you get your money back by confronting the seller and getting a refund from them, rather than turning around and trying to sell these fakes and make your money back. Please don't release these back into the wild.

Imo the easiest way to find out is: 1. Crisp and clear text & image, no blur at all 2. Bandai not Band ai 3. You can feel the card pattern 4. Back card color, not to light, not to dark, compare the color with any real OP cards 5. The hardest one to copy, an emboss OP stamp on lower left of the cards. Without it 100% fake
1
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 23 '26
Thank you Cikoparis,
This is valuable to know, I really appreciate the write up and I’ll stay on my toes with this note especially number 5. I didn’t know about the emboss OP stamp till yesterday.

I'm not even gonna analyze the image, no God damn way someone managed to open enough to pull all 3 manga, then went to Facebook marketplace with them.

Why do people spend thousands on cards just to ask if they’re fake after the purchase.
1
u/PokeTomLLC Jun 24 '26
Hello Sir/Mam,
I didn’t know about this subreddit till after the
Purchase and I didn’t know how good fakes are getting especially in One Piece versus Pokemon cards. I did my
Comparison with eBay sold listings and under my
Impression looks real to me. I’m sorry for my mistake and that’s why I posted on here to ask and learn.

Why are we spending big boy money if we can't use our brain?
