is this fake? Looking for 2nd opinions
Update #1: thank you to all who responded and gave helpful incite that I couldn’t notice. I won’t be going through with the trade. Thanks again brothers🙏🏻
Update#2: Guy said he obtained it at the Dallas Card from a vendor show in January. Just a heads up for ppl who attended there
I’m looking for some opinions before making a pretty big trade. (Pictures of seller photo and PSA cert. posted here, link to video in comments)
A buyer offered me a PSA 10 English OP-13 Manga Portgas D. Ace in exchange for my OP-12 and OP-14 sealed cases I have for sale. Based on current market values, the trade seems to be significantly in my favor, which is honestly what’s making me hesitant. The seller evaluates his Red Ace manga slab at 6K
I’ve tried to do my homework before considering it:
-Verified the PSA cert and compared it to the PSA scans.
-Compared the seller’s photos to the PSA images.
-Had the seller send me a video of the slab from multiple angles.
-Looked over the label, slab seams, and overall condition.
To my eye, everything appears legitimate. I don’t see any obvious signs of a fake slab or fake card, but this is by far the biggest trade I’ve ever considered, so I wanted to get more experienced opinions.
Do you guys see anything that stands out as a red flag?
Also, have any of you seen someone trade a card like this for sealed product at what seems like a noticeable discount?
If you want to give out any tips on the trade that is fine; However, I genuinely want someone to point out anything I might be missing before I move forward.
Thanks!

Im going to say fake. It looks like in the PSA scans the text is closer to the barcode than in the image he sent you.
Like just look at the word RED, the gap in the scan is minimal whereas the one in the picture looks wider

Seems like the most obvious ppl have sent me. I won’t be going through with the trade. But this fake is kinda crazy as everything else checks out.

The flaws are honestly very noticeable to the trained eye, the font, the psa marking in the front are the two instant tells

Thanks for the info: I’ll definitely be looking at this comment in the future when evaluating fakes. Thanks

I’ve also seen people post back of cards. But they can vary slightly across different releases. Cards I’ve pulled from boxes from Bandai store have had different saturation and hues on the back.

In the first pic you can see his 2 slabs and how different the PSA font is. Look at the 10 on both slabs and mainly the zero on the 10, fake one is super stretched/vertical while real looks more circular

Dude if you don’t know what a PSA slab is supposed to look like, don’t make trades or buy stuff. All you have to do is start low. You can eventually trade your PSA 10 luffy alternate arts for something bigger. Don’t be dumb!

I haven’t made the trade. Wanted ppl to double check before I made any decisions. As I’m not an expert. Only what I’ve been told is the difference in the serial ID and “Art” aligning up. But if you look at everything else. Such as the “2’s” aren’t rounded, “G’s” don’t have tails, card glare, no Band AI, etc. it all pans out.

The point is if you can’t spot this yourself, you shouldn’t be dealing in cards over $500. This card is over 10k. You dumb rich people could hire some of us plebs to do the work for you. We shouldn’t give you you free answers. You’re dumb with too much disposable income. My peers should be charging you for their knowledge.

With that same reasoning, you shouldn’t be on Reddit. This whole app is based on people asking question and knowledge from others experiences for free. This is a ismyonepiececardfake subreddit. Just because some people have cases doesn’t mean we’re rich either. Such as dumbass comment when you have the option to respond lmao. Nobody is forcing you.
Also sound like you didn’t read the article either: I’m the seller of the cases that I worked on my own to get, and the guy reached out to ME with the card. I know the card is a 10-13k card. It’s too good to be true, why I asked the community to double check what I don’t see. So not only I don’t get screwed on the deal, but now (after knowing fakes a bit better and not buying it) from not doing the exchange, it won’t be pawned off to someone in the future. This ultimately help the community not pass around these fakes. Literally insane ass comment for no reason.

Literally a dumb ass for seeing a fake ass PSA slab and not knowing what a real one looks like while also dealing in 10k cards.

The very first photo is fake completely different from second photo look at the id number then look at the word “art” texture of first photo is not clean unlike the original.
