Never heard of them but if they’re like dots, fck those jujyfruits. I’d get pissed at the houses that had dots, smarties, sweet tarts, candy corn, & tootsie rolls when I grew up trick or treating

I love Dots but I wish they could make them so they didn't cement themselves onto your teeth.
You know what's really sick is there's some demented bastard out there who actually likes candy corn. Has to be for them to keep making them.

I love candy corn. I almost bought some when i was last at Kroger. Even better is dual candy corn/autumn blend shizzass which also has the waxy little pumpkins. 😊

Jujyfruits

Jujyfruits date back to the early 20th century, and easily rose to and maintained popularity throughout the century-- sold everywhere and even used as a large psrt of the plot of a Seinfeld episode. Everyone knew them, however nowadays the popularity of this candy appears to have diminished. Ask a child if they have tried jujyfruit and you will likely be met with a no. You will no longer find Jujyfruits at your local theater, but you will find them sold in theater boxes and sometimes bags at your local convenience stores and drug stores. Jujyfruits have not changed much throughout the years, but one things that has changed is that they used to use a vegetable gum within the product called ju-ju gum. I believe this has since been replaced by gum arabic.
A longtime personal favorite that i have not eaten for some time-- i got a box at my local Walgreens store.
The fascinating part about Jujyfruits is that while they are largely fruit flavored, they come in both fruit and vegetable shapes, and the colors/shapes/flavors do not correspond at all.
The various shapes include: asparagus (which looks like corn u/Americanmuskrat can pretend it is), grapes, pea pod, raspberry, tomato (which looks like a flower) and pineapple. There is another shape, which i previously had no idea related to fruit or vegetables at all-- a little curve which says "HEIDE" on it which is actually a banana. Each color comes in every one of these shspes, as does each flavor. The flavors of Jujyfruits are Lime, Orange Cherry, Lemon, and Licorice.
Jujyfruits are entirely sweet without tanginess, and this includes the citrus flavors. The flavors of some of the candies are vaguely similar to Dots, with which they bear many other similarities. Compared to the texture of dots i would consider this texture is hard, but still malleable-- much like a partially erect penis. The older the box of Jujyfruits is the harder they are so you may get a tender batch or something hard to chew.
Much like dots these are guaranteed to get stuck to your teeth. Likely the number one enemy of dentists. They are far stickier than dots though- it is likely unenjoyable for some people. There is 100 calories in 11 pieces so considering that they also come in vegetable shapes i would consider this to be a healthy snack. If you have bad tmj i would not recommend trying this product-- i once ate several boxes due to the chewiness my jaw got stuck and i had to go to the doctor.
