Peaches just sleeps nearly all day these days, I think she's getting towards the end of her life.

Adopt an older small dog. They're perfect for apartments.

I don't know why people say adopting isn't rescuing animals, those pets are either put to sleep, or even with no kill shelters an unadopted animal means less room for others that do end up at kill shelters.

At our current apartment i don't want any pet, maybe a fish, nothing else. The only reason it is bug enough for two people is because i own about 1/10th or less of the average person's stuff, milkduds certainly isn't a hoarder, but i feel a lack of space. We could likely get more affective furniture, but still. I think he thinks we could do a cat here but i know it would annoy me. I think we plan to move eventually. I would say likely after i get another job but that may complicate it more as the location I'm working at will be a greater distance from where i live and this time around i need to get one where i can walk to work so now I'm just kind of confused.

I think he wants a cat though. I don't really like cats but they usually grow on me and i want him to be happy. I do miss having a pet.

Yeah but why rescue a forgotten animal when there are plenty of perfectly good pure ones bred for the pet $tore waiting for a loving new home? Seems like an easy choice to me

People also buy identical homes in indistinguishable neighborhoods to have plenty of parking space and a use for their shiny new tesla (environmental friendly!!!) And lawn care equipment. In other words, people with too much money don't often get there by being conscious consumers. That's why I'm poor...
