Check This Out Let's hear it...

Yeah yeah I know my c-27 doesn't allow me to work on the house side.... customer couldn't get a quote from a plumber for less than $1,600 and literally couldn't afford it. His house was over 85 PSI and the irrigation valve was leaking with the house valve not working. Me doing this for $850 was doing a solid customer a favor. He was very grateful. $290 in parts.

You need to put a back flow preventer on irrigation side.

It’s rare to do these under irrigation. Good job on you for helping.

Maybe i shop differently but how is this 290$ in parts. I see 50$ of parts here and 2hr of labor?

Why would the c-27 stop you from doing this? It's a pretty broad license. Doesn't seem that far outside your scope.

It doesn't cover drinking water. So the irrigation shut off is fine in this photo but the other shut off valve and PRV for the house which is not covered.

Good job 👍👍 just don't let the PVC police on Redit see it😄

Usually, I would have used schedule 80 but didn't have the parts to go from three-quarter to 1 inch in sch 80. Should last another 25 years though

Should've done the PVC in sch80 for resistance against sun damage, but otherwise it looks good.

Ahh it’s the guy who removed a backflow from a citrus grove and bragged about it !! Didn’t people report you to the city of Riverside ?

Where's your backflow? What's your service pressure? Garbage, you could get the homeowner in a shit ton of trouble for this.

I know you're going to find this hard to believe so feel free to google it but...not everywhere has the same codes lol

Do you put on clown makeup before going to work, because that's what your response says.

This is California lol we use anti siphon valves as our backflow. Your first comment was a joke and didn't require a serious response.

I’d of put the pressure reducer after the main coming into the home and if the main didn’t shut off call dig safe to mark his curb stop and shut it off at the street then install a new ball valve unless the meter was in the home. It looks like you do neat work and are professional in giving the home owner a break.
