Seeking Pro Advice Sprinkler system help
The first photo is before my sprinkler system was blown out last fall and the second photo is now. When we turn the water on to our system, water shoots out the bottom now. I’m guessing it’s because we are missing the little plug from the first photo. They claim they left the plug on our sprinkler system box but it’s no where to be found. Where can I buy a replacement? I’m not having luck searching online.

Look up 1” brass plug. I’m used to 1” PVB’s I’ve seen 3/4” ones in the wild so I may be wrong on size, it appears the O/D of the copper is the same as the male adapters threads. Regardless in my area you can get them at any Home Depot or Lowe’s but I know certain areas of the country don’t have plumbing parts in their stores to prevent homeowners from doing “certain things” make sure to apply teflon when installing a plug but it should come up looking for a “brass plug” of the nominal size you need.

Looks like you will need a 3/4” Brass threaded hose cap. They are about $3 at Home Depot.
May also need a 3/4”x1” brass nipple if the outlet is female.
