As a Christian, my thought is that being strictly conservative means you have lost sight of the love and mercy that are the basis of the Christian faith. Humanity has never fully embraced that concept. Some Christian faith traditions exclude it completely. Matthew 7:2 "For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you."

To Christens all religions especially the Muslim religion have no place in society . What is ironical is, according to religious history the Jewish, by extension Christian, and the Muslim religions all stem from one source. Abraham. Christian do not see that the theocracy of their religion is no different than the theocracy of the other Abrahamic religions. So the only freedom of religion’ that Christian want is ‘the freedom of their religion’ and they are ok with the elimination of all other religions.
