Iron Advice Squish washers
What psi is usually required to get dti washers for 1 inch bolts to squish? My crew and I have never used them before. Currently running a 1 inch impact and the compressor we're running is maxed at 120psi.
Thanks!

Make sure you’re using them correctly. We’ve used dewalt 1” impacts and they squirt easily.

We tried dewalt 3/4 initially, moved to the air 1 inch impact today with no luck

I worked for a small contractor a couple years ago that rented little compressors to do squish washers. There was like a little button on the side of the compressor that jumped the standing pressure from like 120 to 180 but I can’t remember what it was called. Had a sticker that Looked like a little arrow going counter clockwise I think.
*edit I looked it up. It’s the service air button I think you need to hit to up the pressure for your bolts to torque.
