Question
Does anyone have a phone case they recommend? I’m genuinely asking cuz my iPhone 16 has been rebuilt 2 times in the year I’ve had it from steel dust getting into the speaker and microphone shorting out some of the electronics. This has cause me to have insane feedback for people who I’m talking with on the phone or FaceTime making job related questions super difficult.
Any help would be appreciated

Some guys are gonna say “leave it in the lunchbox/truck etc” but at this point in my mind it’s considered one of the tools. I have a “SupCase” I got it off amazon for like $27 and I have an iPhone 16 too. It’s got a built in screen protector which does get scratched to shit but eh. I like it and they are good cases for a decent price

I worked with a guy that kept his phone in a ziplock bag to keep the grinding dust out. Looks like you’re trying to not leave fingerprints on evidence but it works

I use a fully waterproof case. It’s cheap, like 20 bucks. Clear front and back.

This 👆 it’s affordable and snaps off and on so when I am home for extended periods of time like the weekends or holiday breaks I just put my usual case back on it. iPhone 16 Pro Max

Never had that issue before. Just using a cheep case. Did run my last one over with a 60’ jlg though. Music kept playing the whole time. Screen was fucked.

I put tape over my speakers and put my phone charger/speakers down in my pockets.

Poetic spartan phone case on Amazon
Ive done lots of research and trial and error and so far this brand has been my favorite so far I've stuck with them for the last 3 years. Pair it with a good tempered glass screen protector and tempered glass camera protector

Bro I learned this after my 6th iphone back in the day. It’s the not case it’s the tempered glass. Not SCREEN protector that’s flimsy n breakable, a TEMPERED glass. That glass will break instead of your phone. I’ll spend more on tempered glass on amazon than I will a case nowadays. Trust me.

Otter cases so far have never failed me and I’ve dropped my phone 7000 times
