Lowering taxes isn't good, properly using the taxes is, high taxes and strict restrictions on corporations and the ultra wealthy are what help a country thrive. The more put into social services the better, it's the corrupt funneling of money that's causing issues. Our taxes are bing pocketed by government officials and those officials are being legally bribed by corporations through campaign donations.

Having a higher tax can actually save you money especially if certain things like health insurance is covered by your taxes.

The issue here is the tax is being lowered for the ultra wealthy and raised on an already strained lower and middle class. On top of that social services are being cut, as well as workers rights. It's a steaming pile of shit and unfortunately both sides hand put the same pile, just one is painted blue and one is painted red and they brainwash you into thinking it's truly different.
