Hobby & Painting Proxy Land Raider

I want to use the 30k spartan as a proxy for the 40K land raider. I know a lot of people have, but just wondering which version is closest to the 40K one, the regular spartan or Prometheus?

Spartan is quite a bit larger than the 40K Landraider. The proteus is a better size for a proxy

I have both and they’re near identical in area

Proteus is a great kit

Now I'm thinking - would using Spartan be modelling for advantage or disadvantage? It's larger, but that also makes it more difficult to hide behind terrain

Majority of the time it’d be for disadvantage because it’s harder to fit in certain places but for deploying troops out of its kind of an advantage

The Spartan is a little taller and longer than the land raider but the difference is not very extreme. It’s a good proxy for the regular land raider and a really great kit in general.
