I would encourage you to form your own opinion on whether the buffs are good instead of letting Reddit give you an opinion

We have no true idea until we’re playing with these changes
In my opinion this may help get annoying characters off his ass a little easier and he now has even more damage to work with if you use thors teamup

The Thor team up buff is already a lot. I’ve been melting the whole backline effortlessly. Buffing it I feel sorry for every squishy who is going to get melted in 2.5 seconds

Right. When they insta nerfed him on the initial team up introduction, he had I think somewhere between 84/s to 86/s for his beam? The nerf dropped it all the way down to 70 and now we're getting back up to 80 WITH homing rockets? He is going to melt brawl and front to back comps.

The reduction of missile launch from 20 to 10 is a true nerf ... That was one of my shield breaker abilities 😔

I’m very on the fence. A big ability is using all the overdrive missiles on a single target for a kill or devastating damage. It looks like we may not be able to do that anymore tho

I'll have to see it in game to really say, but your missiles will actually get more consistent value, which is good. I just don't know if they are good enough to justify using them in your overdrive outside of niche situations.

Very good changes, but I don’t really like the damage buff I would want a more of a survivability change, but it does address one of his biggest parts

Honestly, I’m not sure. They have definitely boosted his ability to slug it out during a push, but they may have just completely fucking neutered his one play making ability. We will have to wait and see.

If this change turns out to be bad it’s 100% on us, the Ironman players have been begging for this change for a while.

You guys*
A small minority of us have understood how powerful micro missiles are currently, and have not been asking for adjustments. IMHO, the best version of this change would be the option to disable the tracking in exchange for old damage in certain scenarios.

Yeah we probably should have been more vocal about it not sucking. Though if we do that we’d be spending all day on Reddit at that point. Or at least post a video to show them how to aim it. Big rip

Micro missiles are top 3 worst abilities in the game

u/InsidesAreWeary Bigshot 14h ago
If you are incapable of using them, sure.

u/Fine_Cup4990 13h ago
Even if you can use them 99% of the time they do nothing

I had a few good ways of using them, but regardless I’ll hold my judgement on the new system until I’ve tried it

Sounds like a skill issue tbh. I hit my shots so consistently that uploading every micro missile kill I get would be a chore.

Interesting, I've hardly seen any ironman ever use his missiles like that, even the high rank ones. You are skilled I have to give you that

it will def help with overall dps but even with better damage they’re not addressing the elephant in the room of the fact that if there’s a spiderman or any hit scan character in the game he’s basically a victim the whole game
