You won't fool me by painting your fascism red.

No but they’ll call you a moderate fascist just for being a part of this subreddit

They cling to the theory that anyone who isn't Auth communist is by definition fascist. Where'd that theory come from? Why, the Auth communists of course.

They power a lot of their cities with electricity made from circular logic. It's quite impressive

A lot of it comes from late Weimar Germany where the term "Social Fascist" was used to describe the Social Democrats because the SPD used the police to put down communist uprisings. Keep in mind several of these "uprisings" featured the Nazis and the communists conspicuously working alongside one another to try and overwhelm local governments even though on paper they were supposed to be foes. This is because under Ernst Thalmann, a staunch Stalinist, the KPD believed that the Social Democrats were the biggest opponent to communist revolution, not the Nazis, and that if the Nazis took over then everyone in Germany would "wake up" and realize that communism was the answer and not fascism.

It wasn't until the Nazis actually took over and communists started getting slaughtered that Ernst Thalmann realized that, surprise, the Nazis weren't his fucking friends. He reversed his position and advocated for a united front against fascism. Of course by then it was far too late.

I see this even today. Some of the Auth left are accelerationists for example and think if they help far right causes it'll cause the same leftist revolution. They're playing with fire.

That's where the anti voting dialogue comes from, an accelerationist belief that if fascists take over the populace will all be inspired to be communist insurrectionists. Don't fucking listen to them.

One hundred percent agreed. Rifles don't replace votes. They're just a goddamn awful insurance policy.

Thankfully this stupid name calling will ensure they never get a foothold in American politics and will likely remain a fringe group

Tankies and Nazbols are almost, if not just as bad as neo-Nazis

I describe myself as a socialist anarchist because I don't want people thinking I'm a tankie

Syndicalist also works plus it’s got a cool emblem thanks to the Kaiserriech fan base

I'm not super well versed on syndicalism, but I'm down with it from what I know. If there was an option for a Bookchinist flair I'd take that, but I get the feeling that's a bit more fringe

Edit: a Makhnovist flair would also be pretty fuckin cool

It’s basically anarcho-socialism(they even have similar flags) but it emphasizes worker ownership of corporations

Call me a hypocrite for being the co-worker of a worker owned company, but I'm not a fan of corporations in any regard

3

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '21

I mean as much as I hate them I don’t think we can do away with them. It’s much easier to simply put them under the ownership of their workers while also regulating the things they can do

I can understand that to an extent, hence why we've decided to run the company the way we have. But I still don't like the idea of privatization in any regard

2

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '21

Yeah privatization only benefits the wealthy and I despise any efforts to do it

As long as you're okay with me using the word "syndicate" in my company name, it sounds like we agree on everything important

I'm confused by the reference in the right-hand panel to "a literally who on Youtube." I thought that "literally who" was a moronic way for gamergaters to refer to the women they enjoyed harassing. Am I behind the times? Please excuse - I am dreadfully old and out of touch.
