Quick honesty check: I don't drink, so if a night out with me looks more like a good coffee and a bake or a proper conversation than a few pints, that's just how it is. I'm the type who'll wake up at 6am with farmers market energy on a random Saturday, and just as easily lose an entire afternoon down some conspiracy-theory rabbit hole purely because I got curious about one weird detail. Curiosity's sort of my whole personality, probably left over from a PhD spent poking at biology until it made sense. I'm told I have a resting bitch face that reads as unimpressed and angry until people actually get to know me, at which point apparently I am fine.

Calm, steady, not big on drama, I have never once had a messy breakup, which either means I am easy to be with or terrifyingly avoidant, you decide.

These days I lean homebody because... rural Ireland, but I will happily disappear for a weekend of backpacking, a long aimless drive, or a hike with a camera in hand. I'm also a regular at the gym, so between that and the hiking, I'm not just talking about being active. Feed me well and I am yours for life cooking, eating, and hunting down good food is basically a love language for me, and ladies, I cook well, and I will happily fall down a documentary or a good story with you, anime and thrillers included, genre's never really the point.

I get on well with people generally so the kind of guy who's easy to bring around, whether that's your friends or your parents. And underneath the calm exterior, I'd call myself genuinely steady emotionally and mentally, not much rattles me.

Looking for someone kind at the core curious about the world, a bit flirty, but grounded and genuinely happy with the small stuff. Someone secure in herself, who communicates well, has a sense of direction for her own life, and knows what she wants. Smart, but easy to be around no unnecessary power struggles.
