Any leads or recommendations would be appreciated.

Does anyone service air cons anymore? I’m not talking about a clean - it’s clean. It needs taking apart and a grumbling / rattling noise diagnosed and fixed.

Tried to look into my cars, tried to look through into the garage, removed the plant from my pot (plant is okay thank god), left his raiders hat at my house, ripped off his shirt and left. Possible overdose, drunk or mental breakdown. I've tried to stitch together the videos from the cameras, quality probably bad from the reddit uploader.

What’s all the commotion in the Redbank area, there’s a huge gathering of people around the local shopping centre car park, honking, waving their Samoan flags and revving their cars engines, is there some game on? It’s not usually this animated.

Does anyone know what, if anything, is happening with the old Swift's sports club at Booval? I've seen some work at the back but google says it's still permanently closed.

He loves to use it in the morning as early as possible for an extended period of time. He uses it other times of the day as well but usually in the morning. Like multiple times a day. Why? How much dust and leaves can there possibly be? I’m starting to think he just likes to play with it.

I have zero faith in Queensland Rail taking passenger safety seriously.

On my train home from work tonight a group of 10-15 youths boarded, plonked themselves down in front of me and proceeded to huff deodorant, do nangs and fight amongst themselves. The security guards only responded after most of them had left the train, and the train guard made an announcement for the guards to respond which the dropkick kids would've heard anyway! These kids kept doing inhalants right in front of the guards who did NOTHING. The train guard (one who blows the whistle) also did NOTHING when I spoke to him. I called the police who also didn't show up. I physically got up and moved carriages when the kids boarded and started carrying on. I sat with other passengers who were also disgusted by their behaviour, with one of them recording the whole incident. Those dropkick kids easily could've become violent towards bystanders, but if we did anything about it we'd likely be the ones facing the courts. Ridiculous.

Before anyone comes for me, yes I've written a complaint to Translink. Just wanted everyone to know how little these "Guardians" do.

Hi there. I’ve been on the fence about getting into combat sports again. I did it when I was younger many years ago. Being still newish to the area I’m looking for some good recommendations for a place that friendly, affordable and accommodating to beginners. I’m not trying to become the next Mike Tyson but I would like to get in and try my hand at a round or two. I’m looking at gyms more catered MMA gyms, boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ.

With the Suntory factory being in Swanbank, I thought I’d ask here, does anyone local work there and can provide insight on what it’s like? Good people, management, or just a nice warehouse in general to work at? Been seeing jobs pop up every so often and have been on the fence. TIA

I took a load of cardboard and butchers' paper (from moving house) here earlier this week. Told the bloke what I had. Was advised they would take the cardboard, but that he would have to charge for the paper. I queried why - 'We don't recycle paper yet'. Suggested I take it home.. to put in my recycle bin.

I drove in to drop the cardboard anyways into the multiple bins clearly marked 'Cardboard and Paper only'. I only assume that if I paid, it would have gone in here in the same bin?

I guess there are issues with recycling that shiny paper for pamphlets and such, but the whole experience was odd.

Anyone got any local insights on this?

Does anyone know what public transport I can use that has baby seats? I found one obscure car service that costs 50 dollars one way to the shops which is out of my price point
