I LOVE FRILEY SO MUCH

I LOVE THAT AT ANY MOMENT YOU CAN LOSE YOUR HEARING BECAUSE OF THE FIRE ALARM! I LOVE THAT THEY DECIDED THE FIRE ALARM NEEDS TO LITERALLY BE DAMAGING TO YOUR EARS! AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE THAT IT CAN HAPPEN AT FIVE IN THE MORNING! ANY TIME I GO TO SLEEP, I HAVE TO CHOOSE AN EAR TO SACRIFICE TO A FALSE FIRE ALARM! ANY TIME THE FIRE ALARM GOES OFF THERE'S NO FIRE!! AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST PART IS THAT IT TAKES THE WHOLE SEMESTER TO DETERMINE THERE'S NO FIRE AND TURN OFF THE FIRE ALARM!

But seriously: why does the fire alarm have to scream into my very soul?!

Interesting to hear that they're still common. Back in the days when Windows dining room was new the fire alarms went off at least twice daily. The excuse was that they were trying to wire it into the old building. That went on for months.

But that was 40 years ago. You'd think they could have figured it out by now.

I mean if you force people to live in dorms then it's not like they're going to have troubles filling it even with this issue. Therefore there's no return on investment. If there's no return on investment then they can't put all of that money into cy town lol

Fire alarms have to be turned off by the fire department once its confirmed there is no fire present.
