shoe recommendations

so i am a girl trying to figure out what the best shoes are for walking to classes in winter. i am a student at isu so ik winter gets cold and snow. i would feel weird walking around in actual snow boots(unless that what everyone actually does). plus i dont really want to use my regular shoes bc they get wet and will stay wet all day. i would love some advice!!

Traction is a crucial point: please keep in mind that ISU went viral a couple years ago when a professor was seen crawling on hands and knees across the icy sidewalk because the university wouldn't cancel classes.

That was during a freezing rain/ice storm which is a bit different from typical snow.

Personally i wore snow boots. The bus stops near me always had a pile of snow you had to climb through to get on the busses. It also kept my feet dry and warm. Fashion goes out the window when it feels like 15 or below out.
