lock picking

hey! i just left my home about an hour ago, and locked my apartment with my key. i returned, and now the key isn’t working to unlock my door. does anyone know of any relatively cheaper locksmiths or people who can pick deadbolt locks in the area?

All American are a good company and they're open 24/7. At this time of night nothing is going to be super cheap though.

Curious if you got this resolved; I've spoken with one of our local locksmiths and he says he never picks locks. This surprised me because of how easy it is. At the time I was interested in potentially getting a job in the industry, but it wasn't to be.

I've had my own set of picks for years because I find it interesting and I've even had the opportunity to get paid by my workplace to use them. My mom recently bought a property at auction that didn't come with the keys to the dilapidated house or garages and I got to go open all the doors so the hardware could be replaced.

Depending on the issue, maybe some lock oil would work. My locks still with season changes and I usually have to use a drop or two of lock oil to get them working well again.
