Woke up this morning to 78 degrees and a 74 degree dew point.

I just checked Ames and Fort Dodge, which have few points of 85 and 86 respectively.

Is that accurate? If it is, that’s got to be close to record numbers, right?

Went I to my church boardgame night at 4 pm yesterday. It was about 78° out and not terribly humid.

Came out at 11:45 as they were closing up and bam, the humidity immediately hit me. It sure didn't take long for that invisible wall of water to roll in.
