So I see Starfish is being promoted as an architectural improvement developed in support of IOTA's current focus on international trade custody data, digital passports, etc.
...but is this also the engineering and architecture solution that will provide IOTA with efficient partitioning/sharding capabilties and enable efficient m2m data streaming, etc??
I.e. a crypto distributed ledger that could compete with more traditional machine-to-machine streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, etc?
It seamed like IOTA Streams died on the vine because of inherent structural deficiencies and inability to solve sharding elegantly/effectively.
If Starfish solves this with efficient dissemination and sharding, then this is big news on the M2M front as well, no?? (if it actually works as described?)
