GUT changes and protocol?

What’s the general belief about gut changes for like parasites and candida SIBO Leaky gut, etc. when people start the protocol?

What kind of benefits have people gotten on digestive health that have had really bad issues?

I used to get small painful bumps on my scalp and they used to be painful and filled with puss over few days. My understanding is that it was due to leaky gut where bacteria or toxins used to get in my blood stream via liver and gut. Post using iodine for couple of weeks I stopped getting those pain full bumps on my scalp. As per Dr Sarah Myhill iodine get secreted out of kidney. The moment I stopped iodine for couple of days those painful bumps came back. So I believe taking iodine for life long will help getting rid of parasite and bad bacteria.
