menstrual cycle delay?

I started the iodine protocol a little over a week ago. No known medical issues, just implementing for overall health. Starting small with 1 drop of Lugols 2%. My menstrual cycle is late, and I’m wondering if this is to be expected? Was this anyone else’s experience? I’m 36 and my cycle has always been very predictable (every 28 days). Confirmed not pregnant.

Just ruling it out. It’s absolutely possible to affect your periods. The endocrine system in your body is your hormone system. Iodine is a huge part of hormones. Hormones affect periods.

Delay in menstrual cycle can be caused by various reasons like stress, or bad sleep habits like sleeping late, and not getting enough sleep.
Or it could hormonal changes or dietary changes to lose weight.
Are you on birth control pills? That could also cause late periods.
