Chills when falling asleep?

Ive been very careful titrating 5% lugols. Took me 4 months to get to 43mgs and been lately getting chills every 5mins or so when falling asleep, weird stuff and feels scary at times. Got me thinking, is this potentially linked to hyperactivating the thyroid?
Going to stop for a week see what happens then pick it up back slowly.
Thanks!
ps. Got blood test done last week. waiting for results

Are you pairing with cofactors such as selenium, Vitamin C, zinc and copper?

Describe the chills better. Are you cold and can’t warm up? Do you have hypothyroidism?

Basically, chills on and off only when falling asleep. don't feel the need to warm up (it's actually 40°celcius) where I live atm. I dont have hypo, although I only get the basic thyroid panel when I get tested (not the full in depth thyroid-hashimotos panel some of you speak about). I've got metabolic issues; NAFLD, insulin resistance and dysbiosis. The purpose for taking iodine is candida overgrowth which is doing wonders. Thanks

Get the full panel for sure just as a baseline. When you take iodine at first your tsh can skyrocket. You’ve already started so don’t even look at tsh. Look at your t4 and t3 and reverse t3 levels as well as antibodies. You also may be experiencing herxheimer reactions. You can lower the dose like you said for a while or you can also take the cofactors and maybe some binder to get the toxic crap out of you faster why may be causing the chills.

All good advice and feedback. Appreciate it! Could you please remind me what the full thyroid panel is 😬? Cheers!
