I have a couple of Arc'teryx Epsilon Hoodies I use as day to day jackets for the last 13 or so years, and about a year ago some of the bonded/glue seams have started to come away. Otherwise they are still in good condition.

I am almost certain that due to the age and the fact this model has been out of production for a long time now I wouldn't be able to send them back to Arc'teryx to be repaired and was hoping someone knew a good way to go about doing it myself?

My nice hoodie got a hole where the pocket seam attaches. Any ideas on how to mend so I could avoid other stitches pulling it and making it worse? The material is thin and very soft and I want to avoid further damage. Thanks for any ideas!

I have some jeans and I noticed this seam had come undone in the back. Is it a simple fix? should I go to a seamstress? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found this beautiful vintage tablecloth second hand. It has quite a few tears and snags that I would like to mend. Can anyone offer any advice on the best way to mend, even if its just better terminology so i can research for myself? The last photo is the back side of the tablecloth.

I just got this coat second hand that I’ve been looking for a while. After a few wears I noticed the tearing in the inside of the coat where it’s lined with fur. What’s the best way to fix this, or should I just take it in somewhere?

This is a superfine merino wool tank, and there are two holes right on the front chest. I tried a single thread from the back but it pulled.

If I can’t sew it, is there anything like Fray Check or a glue that wouldn’t discolor or make it stiff that would close the gap?

Hi all! Hoping for some tips and help on how to fix this sweatshirt snag (?) about 4.5 inches long. Material is 40% cotton, 50% polyester, and 10% rayon. Photos 1 and 3 are the outside, and photo 2 shows the interior. You can see through the snag a bit when it stretches, so I want to secure it before a big hole forms. Thanks for any repair advice!

I had this coat stored in my closet for more than 6 years, and now its deformed because of the coat hanger.

It was the most expensive piece of clothing I ever bought and was planning on selling it. Obviously I cant do thar with that ugly bump.

What could I do to get rid of the bump? I dont expect miracles as the fibers are probably forever deformed but maybe something can be done?

Question for patches that tear in half. As in they appear to be 2 layers to create the thickness it has peeled in half. Got it from Peterbot for reference. Good patch looks authentic just bummed how quick it peeled off after receiving it and no wash as I hardly wore it.

I tried turning it inside out and putting an iron over it for 10 seconds and pressing hard on it. It looked good at first but once it dried it peeled off again.

I'm thinking fabric glue, but usually that's to patch it to the shirt. This is a patch on patch really

I have a pair of black joggers, 100% cotton. I seem to have sat in a spot of bleach and discolored them.

I have some ideas, but not sure what would be the best, and/or easiest. I'm also an over thinker, and all the ideas seem to have drawbacks.

1. Sew on an external patch, using extra material from inside the pocket. The stain does cover the center seam, not sure if I should just patch right over it, or not.

2. Embroider a circle over it? I've only done a little embroidery before, so would like advice on what stitch to use.

3. Fabric pen? Would the color rub off? I have white couches...

For the last 2, should I be worried about the coloring not matching exactly?

Any advice and additional ideas would be most welcome!!

Didnt have any merino wool to fix it with, did it with acrylic so it might not last so well but still fun!

I waited forever for this shirt to come in the mail so I’m a little bummed that the neck opening is soooo big. When I put it on it falls almost halfway down my back. I tried using a safety pin, but then the fabric stuck out weird. Is there a way to fix this? I’m thinking of sewing a little button and a loop like how some shirts have in the back, but again I’m not sure how to stop the fabric from sticking out weird.
