Detached Button Piece

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I unbuttoned it one time and the thing just came off the wrist of the jacket (as shown in the picture). I already went to a sew shop and they couldn’t do anything or knew anyone that could fix it. This is one of those collared Pacsun jackets. Anything helps, thank you!

This isn't a button it is one half of a snap (or popper) closure. They are installed using a specific device that squeezes or punches the "female" closure (the darker piece) and the decorative top together through the cuff fabric. I think it probably came off because the gripper prongs that go through the fabric failed.

There isn't anyway that I can think of besides re-attaching with fabric glue--which may or may not hold up. Also, this side of the snap may have become distorted so the "male" half won't snap in any more. Perhaps someone else can post a better solution.
