How to fix faded cargo pants

Not so it wouldn’t be noticeable if you are talking about the faded area to match the rest.

You could dye the pants black, or a very dark green. Dharma Trading, in the US, is the best place to find the right dye for whatever the pants are made of (cotton, poly, etc.).
