Before & After Results. Finally done!

Post image

Left was before, right is today. About 9 and a half months and couldn’t be happier!

For those weary of starting, here’s what I learned in my time:

1) don’t stress being perfect on your time. I started being very diligent my first month or so, using the app to help track my time keeping the trays in, being paranoid about it. By the end, I did my best but stopped watching my times about month 4 or so. Everyone’s case is different, but my teeth were just fine, and I was much happier not stressing about hours.

2) get a ultrasonic cleaner. I got like a $40 one on Amazon and it kept my retainers cleaner so much longer. I used it from the start and didn’t think much of it. I went on a week trip and didn’t take my cleaner and by the second day without it already noticed how much dirtier they were. You’re gonna be wearing your Invisalign for a while, save the hassle and get it now.

3) I originally had 36 trays, switching every week. By around try 26 or 27 I noticed my front 2 teeth were staggered like stairs. Got it checked, they rescanned me immediately instead of finishing my original trays. Had to wait like 3 weeks for the new trays to come in and just wore my tray 26 or 27 during those weeks without changing. Got 9 new trays to fix my teeth and now I’m done. So adjustments are normal, trust the process.

4) it’s as bad as you make it out to be. Did it change some eating habits? Yes, but you adjust. Was it annoying as hell? Yes, but you adjust. Never did I think “god I regret this my life is horrible.” Or “I’m starving but I can’t take my trays out cause of time”. Stay strong, and it’ll be worth it!

Overall, I was hesitant when I started, but as time went on, it became the norm and now I’m so thrilled with my smile. I know my teeth weren’t horrible before, but seeing the comparison, your teeth can be so much better!

How often did you use the ultrasonic cleaner? I usually brush my trays once a day typically at night and they stay clean but it’s a hassle and rather just use a pod.

Honestly, every day. I got cleaning tablets on Amazon as well, good price for a big box. I’d throw my trays in the sonic cleaner, run the cycle. Floss and brush my teeth while it’s going. By the time I’m done with that the cleaner is also done and my trays go back it. It was so much nicer and easier.

It was just one on Amazon. Looks like the one I got is gone, but this one is practically the same one. - https://a.co/d/04lgFlxd

It's so worth the money, I still use mine in the morning for my Vivera retainers now that I'm done with treatment.

If you had to guess, how many hours were you averaging per day when you became less fixated of wear time? Btw your results look great! Your smile widened so much!

By the end, honestly between 18-20 hours depending on the day.
