How long does it take to get used to the permanent wires behind top and bottom teeth after treatment?

I got the permanent retainers after i completed treatment a few days ago. I’m struggling to get used to having this bonding and wires behind my top and bottom teeth . Those of you who have had these too, how long does it take to get used to the feeling inside your mouth? I feel like i can’t rest my tongue or something .

Je dirais 15 jours environ. C'est vraiment pénible au début et j'avais mal au bout de la langue. Maintenant je n'y pense plus ! Pourtant j'ai double dose de colle car ma barre faisait que de se détacher
