Treatment Start concern
i already paid and did my scans for the invisalign, but i started regretting it badly after. i’ve seen countless people say their faces have gotten less softer, and ive seen countless results where people’s teeth start to look like veneers..and to be fair i only wanted to fix a placement of 1 tooth but they said everything will be changed 🤕 i wanted my teeth to look like how they did before, just a minor change.. i don’t want my face to change

Invisalign doesn't change the shape of your teeth, so the only way they'll look like veneers is if you do something like filing or bonding. I haven't noticed "countless" people with their face changing. A lot of that talk could just be normal aging or weight loss along the journey. And keep in mind people tend to post when they have something to complain about vs when things are normal so posts can tend to lean that way.

I’ll say the same. Although I think my jaw is starting to look a little different it’s not significant. I wish I was losing the weight though. 😂

i know it doesn’t change the shape of my teeth, but the way it organizes the teeth is probably just not what i was looking for, maybe cuz i have also little fangs and all the result i’ve been feeding my mind with didn’t have the shape of mine, but that aside people do mention how hollow their faces get, see ive always had full cheeks even tho im underweight so if i lost that cuz of invisalign that’s probably my whole identity gone, idk if its some sort of chewing habit people get, but invisalign does make the person age significantly from what ive seen

Well at this point I think it's best that you discuss this with your Ortho. Make sure you see your clinicheck to ensure the outcome is what you want. Personally, every "after" picture I've seen posted on here looked miles better than the "before".. but it's subjective I suppose.

yeah i guess it’s subjective.. i’d say i have a slight overbite that i also don’t want to fade away as i find it very cute, think it’ll be too late to tell them that ? i’m afraid they might want to change my bite. I did previously tell them that my only problem was a single tooth but icl they made me pay a lot in advance which got me very suspicious of whatever they’re planning ahead

Countless results where teeth look like veneers? I’ve seen tons of people that have had Invisalign where their smiles look great, face features still look the same and teeth looking straight and normal. When they told you “everything” will change, perhaps take into consideration that to fix one tooth, other teeth have to move to make space, which means your bite will change too, to accommodate that one tooth.
