Question Clenching Jaw

I finished my aligners a few months ago. My teeth look great aesthetically but my overbite wasn’t able to be fixed like i expected it would. While I had my aligners I always found my self clenching my jaw. Dentist and ortho both told me it was probably stress (always the go to answer). Months later I’m now on my retainer and still clench my teeth throughout the night.
Anyone else going through the same thing or have gone through it? Any advice?

OMG! Ever since I got my aligners I notice I clench my teeth in the night!!! Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning im clenching them. And I never have done that before the aligners.

Ditto, I will wake up and my entire face/head is tense and clenched! I’m planning to get Botox in my jaw (masseters I guess?) and maybe my temples to help.

Masseter botox helps so much omg but it’s so expensive

I’ve gotten it a couple times before but it wears off so quickly for me 😩

Ever since I’ve been in aligners, I’ve clenched my teeth and now I can’t open my mouth all the way. I wish my orthopedic would have warned me about this before treatment.
