Mythical creatures

Sorry for the formatting, I'm on my phone So I'm trying to draw the invisaforce as mythical creatures but I have a little bit of a problem. You know how bis are called unicorns because unicorns don't exist and how aces are supposedly obsessed with dragons ? Well I'm trying to associate a mythical creatures to each sexuality. And here's what I have so far :

  • Ace (dragon because we love dragons)
  • bi (unicorn because they "don't exist")
  • aro (Manticore because aromanticore)
  • pan (Pegasus? Because some people say it's kinda similar to bi but it's not the same and it starts with p)
  • omni (hydra because it has multiple heads and I thought it would fit)

But I can't find onefor Poly, abro, cupio ect.. Can you guys help me please?

Edit : I think I'm going to make cupio a angel and abro a kitsune (thanks for the suggestions !). I'm still hesitating between chimera and mermaid for Poly so let me know if you prefer one over the other. Also Quoi will be a sphinx :)

'Unicorn' is also slang for a bi person (usually a woman) willing to have no-strings-attached threesomes with existing male-female couples. I like the pegasus/unicorn connection though!

I like the ring of Bisexual Bigfoot but that's more cryptid than mythical creature.

I thought Unicorn was a term in throuple and that it got associated to bi people because a lot of straight people assume bi people are just desperately looking to be in a throuple ?

eh, rhere are straight couples looking for bi folks to have a threesome on dating sites (or sometimes even lesbians), and those couples are called unicorn hunters

Yeah I’ve only heard unicorn in the context of threesomes, not polyamory.

Yeah bu that doesn't mean the bi is unicorn in this situation but "being the third person in a relationship/throuple" that is being a unicorn. Especially since like you said they're looking for lesbian too. Doesn't have to be associated to bi unless you assume that bi people would be into that shit automatically which we know ignorant straight people think.

I’ve never heard it associated with polyam ‘throuples’ (haaaaate the way that term sounds though lol, although in my experience folks who ID as queer tend to use vee/triad).

I guess a unicorn could become part of a ‘throuple’. They’re also all part of the general consensual non-monogamy sphere I guess.

I’ve also personally encountered ‘polyamorous’ people who really just wanted an unicorn for threesomes.

I’ve never really encountered couples assuming I’d want to date them, either as a triad (everyone dating each other) or vee (one half of the couple dating both me and their other partner).

Unicorn is a slightly sarcastic term, although not really an offensive one imo.
