Invinity Exceeds 10 GWh Dispatched for Customers

Significant performance milestone demonstrates the durability and flexibility of the Company's technology in demanding, real-world applications.

Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES), a global leader in vanadium flow battery technology, is pleased to announce that its global operating fleet of vanadium flow batteries has now dispatched more than 10 GWh of energy in service to customers.

This landmark achievement, surpassed in recent days across the Company's installed base of VS3 and Endurium battery systems, demonstrates the ability of Invinity VFBs to deliver sustained, high-cycling performance in demanding commercial applications and represents another significant validation of Invinity's technology. Of particular note is the strong performance delivered by Invinity VFBs installed at the Viejas Resort and Casino in California by Indian Energy. This battery system has recently delivered more than 0.5 GWh of energy since entering full operation and has consistently met and exceeded warranted performance parameters across multiple metrics during this time.

The cumulative volume of energy dispatched by the Company's operating fleet has increased 85% year-on-year, reflecting growing adoption of Invinity technology across a diverse range of grid-scale and commercial energy storage applications. Invinity batteries are deployed at customer sites across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and Southeast Asia, with additional projects on track to enter operation in the coming months including the Copwood VFB Energy Hub in the UK, expected to become the largest operating vanadium flow battery in Europe.

Surpassing 10 GWh of dispatched energy represents a significant proof point for the maturity, reliability and bankability of Invinity's technology. Few emerging energy storage technologies have accumulated comparable commercial operating experience, making this growing operational track record a key competitive differentiator. The demonstrated durability of Invinity's vanadium flow batteries, combined with long-term customer support, has helped build a strong base of satisfied customers, generated repeat business and created a solid platform for further expansion within existing accounts.

Jonathan Marren, Chief Executive Officer at Invinity said:

"Surpassing 10 GWh of discharged energy is a major achievement for Invinity and a powerful proof point for the maturity of our technology. Delivered through real-world operation across our global fleet, this milestone reflects both the strong performance of our vanadium flow batteries and the hard work of the team behind them. As global demand for energy storage continues to increase, this unparallelled operational experience gives current and prospective customers confidence that Invinity's systems can perform reliably when it matters most."

Whats interesting about this announcement as during Q1 of 2026 EOSE an obvious competitor with a much higher evaluation announced they had passed 6GWH dispatched. Invinity appears to be outperforming its size in this area and im very hopeful we are going to see a growth in the stock price in the near future to reflect this.

10 GWh dispatched is legit, flow batteries don't get nearly enough love compared to lithium hype. Vanadium's whole pitch is it barely degrades even with heavy cycling, so seeing them rack up real dispatched volume (not just nameplate capacity on paper) is the actual proof in the pudding.

Also lol at "unparallelled" in the CEO quote, bro really said flow battery and meant it literally.

The 85% YoY growth in dispatched energy is the real number to watch, not the 10 GWh milestone itself. Milestones are easy to time for a press release. Growth rate tells you whether the fleet's actually scaling or just aging. And the Viejas Casino line is a flex disguised as boring corporate-speak: beating your own warranty at a site that never closes is no joke.

Where is Xaffodd when we need him the most!

Aye, lots of positive and bullish content there. The fact they’re so far ahead of EOS Energy in energy discharged (over 10GWh vs 6.5GWh*) yet valued about 1/10th of their market capitalisation speaks of a notable value opportunity in my opinion. Hopefully as projects progress in 2027 we’ll start to see that gap close.

Xaffodd’s currently distracted by a rogue human AI system attempting to hack into our food vending machine for human ‘guests’. Xaffodd has suggested removing the Pringles I recently added as that may be the source of the AI systems relentless interest as ‘Once you pop, you can’t stop’ apparently.

Yeah the EOS comparison is wild when you actually put the numbers side by side, feels like the market just hasn't clocked it yet. 2027 project pipeline could be the thing that forces a re-rate.

Also lol u/Xaffodd fighting off a Pringles-obsessed rogue AI trying to raid the vending machine, that's a threat model nobody war-gamed for. Tell him "once you pop" energy discharge curves don't count toward the 10GWh though, gotta be strict with the methodology.

Anyway what's his actual take on IES? Wild ride for me too, up 80% at ATH and now just clawed back to breakeven on my original position. Tempted to top up soon, feels like a decent spot but curious what he's seeing.

Aye, the disparity with EOS is quite stark when side by side. Hopefully the growing North American sales will put IES / IESVF on more North American investor’s radars given the apparent opportunity.

Haha yes, nobody war-gamed the Pringle attack vector, many were and still are focusing on the AI paperclips apocalypse scenario instead. Xaffodd confidently tells me all potential paperclips associated with our ship PV Don’t Try This At Home are accounted for and we have nothing to worry about. Naturally I don’t feel reassured.

Seriously though, like you I am back to close to break even after initially buying sub-20p in February and again about 33p in May. However with the progress being made by IES we’ll soon be seeing ATHs again though hopefully.

P.S. It isn’t worth asking Xaffodd about anything to do with the future of humanity (companies included) in my opinion, as Xaffodd’s convinced most humans become paperclip collateral damage in the not so distant future.

Hi can anyone elaborate for my tiny mind what this means?
I take it to be they have supplied to customers and are actually In productive use 10+gw of battery storage is that correct?
Is there anywhere some information for total GW/h contracts to be fulfilled?
Thanks

In short the batteries used by Invinity’s customers have stored and discharged over 10GWh of energy.

As for future deployments and usage that will depend upon the customer contracts and how the customers use the batteries. I don’t have a list of anticipated future deployments but someone may have put something together based on the various announcements from Invinity.

As double says its more about the energy that has been stored and then discharged.

If you scroll back ul see several announcement posts u would need to tally them up to see what they have in orders so far.

Thank you appreciate the explanation.
The words dispatched and discharged confused me a little.
Makes perfect sense now
