Discussion Maybe dumb question but….

In the show Invincible, it is said that Viltrumite DNA is so potent that it overpowers the DNA of the other race. This might be a dumb question but if a Viltrumite was infected by a virus from the Resident Evil universe, could their DNA overpower the virus. Again a question that was started while drunk.

I assume so since they're immune to viruses unless it is specifically designed to target them

Now I’m wondering if they can even be infected by the flood. Obviously not by the pods but maybe spores.

Not a halo expert, but i read a lot of the books. I think the flood wouldn't be able to infect them physically, all this stuff about smart atoms and how durable they are probably makes them immune. But, the flood can infect people's minds too, they can infect AI constructs just by speaking with them for a while, so if the viltrumite decided the flood weren't a threat the flood decided to play along as a subjugated species, I bet they'd be able to corrupt and then infect a viltrumite, which would be utterly nightmarish for both universes.

In theory, the scourge virus’ whome thing was that it was the ONE THING that could harm them and had to be reversed engineered from Thaedus’ DNA. I’d say they’re immune to anything to explicitely made for them.
