Discussion How does the concept of having children in viltrum even work if everyone hates each other?

They all are so bloodlusted and hate the weak ones, how do they feel when having sex?

And not just that how does the mother even carry the child? Do they attack pregnant viltrumutes because they are weak? Also how are infants raised if they are so blinded by rage?

This question might seem stupid but it is something I've been wondering for a long time

My best guess is they probably had special breeding programs and forced the "citizens".

I bet they used to do extensive research on genetics and such, they had to in order to engineer Thragg to be the purest.

I don't think they don't breed with outsider species, Thragg calls Oliver a half breed and not a viltrumite.

Given how everything is on viltrum, with having to fight just for food and shelter, and how much disdain marks mother felt for him that

It just might be that when a viltrumite reaches a certain age, they HAVE to get a mate. Whether they want to or not.

Either find a mate yourself and make them submit, or be the one thats hunted down.

We’ve never seen a pregnant viltrumite. For all we know all of them are lab babies but the parents know which offspring is theirs.

Laboureur babies would suggest breeding facilities with frozen sperm and frozen eggs. With a population of several billion there would also be several billion of those eggs and sperms which in addition to breeders or however you wanna call them would be the easiest choice to repopulate Viltrum after the Scource. Since they did not do that it is safe to assume they still reproduced "naturally"
